Chicken Almondine – Recipe Card

Ingredients
  

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • ½ cup sliced almonds
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped (optional)

Method
 

Season & Sear:
  1. Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
Toast Almonds:
  1. In a separate dry skillet, toast sliced almonds until lightly golden. Remove and set aside.
Make Pan Sauce:
  1. In the chicken skillet, melt butter and add garlic. Cook 30 seconds, then pour in chicken broth and lemon juice. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
Combine:
  1. Return chicken to the pan and spoon the lemon-butter sauce over the top. Sprinkle with toasted almonds and parsley.

Notes

For a deeper, nutty richness, let the butter brown slightly before adding the garlic.
