Ingredients
  

  • ripe banana frozen
  • 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries
  • 1/2 cup spinach leaves fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 cup almond milk or any other milk of your choice
  • Toppings: sliced fresh fruit such as kiwi, mango, berries, granola, chia seeds, shredded coconut, honey or maple syrup (optional)

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Mixing spoon or spatula
  • Serving bowl

Method
 

  1. In a blender, combine the frozen banana slices, frozen mixed berries, spinach leaves, and almond milk.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides of the blender as needed to ensure all ingredients are well incorporated.
  3. Pour the smoothie into a serving bowl.
  4. Top the smoothie with your desired toppings such as sliced fresh fruit, granola, chia seeds, shredded coconut, and a drizzle of honey or maple syrup if desired.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!
