Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb snow crab legs or king crab, if preferred
  • 1 lb mussels or clams scrubbed and cleaned
  • 1 lb small red potatoes halved
  • 3 ears corn cut into thirds
  • 1 smoked sausage such as andouille, sliced
  • ½ cup 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tbsp Old Bay seasoning plus more to taste
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper optional, for heat
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

Parboil Potatoes & Corn:
  1. In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook potatoes for 10 minutes, then add corn and cook 5 more minutes. Drain and set aside.
Make Garlic Butter Sauce:
  1. In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, garlic, Old Bay, paprika, cayenne (if using), lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
Assemble the Bake:
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large roasting pan or baking dish, combine parboiled potatoes, corn, sausage, shrimp, crab legs, and mussels. Pour garlic butter mixture over the top and toss to coat.
Bake:
  1. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 25 minutes, until seafood is cooked through and mussels have opened.
Finish & Serve:
  1. Sprinkle with fresh parsley, add lemon wedges on the side, and serve hot with crusty bread to soak up the juices.

Notes

For easy cleanup, line your baking dish with foil or parchment.
You can swap mussels for scallops or add lobster tails for a more luxurious version.
If using frozen seafood, thaw and pat dry before baking to avoid excess liquid.
Serve with extra melted butter mixed with Old Bay for dipping.
