Ingredients
  

  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red food coloring
  • 1 cup water for coloring
  • Fresh parsley or chives optional, for garnish

Method
 

Boil the Eggs:
  1. Place eggs in a saucepan, cover with water, and bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Drain and transfer eggs to an ice bath to cool.
Prepare the Egg Halves:
  1. Peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.
  2. Remove yolks and place them in a small mixing bowl.
Color the Egg Whites (Optional):
  1. Mix 1 cup water with a few drops of red food coloring in a shallow bowl.
  2. Submerge the egg whites for 1-2 minutes until they turn pink.
  3. Remove and pat dry with a paper towel.
Make the Filling:
  1. Mash egg yolks with a fork.
  2. Mix in mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, vinegar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a piping bag or zip-top bag with a corner snipped off.
Assemble the Deviled Eggs:
  1. Pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  2. Garnish with parsley, chives, or a sprinkle of paprika for added color.
Serve:
  1. Arrange the eggs on a platter and enjoy!
