Ingredients
  

  • 4 ripe peaches peeled, pitted, and chopped
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional, for heat
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Prepare the peaches:

  • In a blender or food processor, puree the chopped peaches until smooth.

Cook the sauce:

  • In a medium saucepan, combine the peach puree, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, honey, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, ground cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper (if using).
  • Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
  • Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat.

Simmer and thicken:

  • Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens to your desired consistency.

Season and adjust:

  • Taste the sauce and season with salt and black pepper to your preference. Adjust any other seasonings as needed.

Cool and store:

  • Remove the saucepan from heat and let the sauce cool to room temperature.
  • Transfer the sauce to an airtight container and refrigerate. It will keep for up to 1 week in the refrigerator.

Serve:

  • Use the peach BBQ sauce on grilled meats, as a dipping sauce, or as a condiment for sandwiches and burgers. Enjoy!
