Ingredients
  

For the Cupcakes:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup milk

For the Buttercream Frosting:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk or heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pink food coloring optional
  • Sprinkles or edible flowers for decoration

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  • In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients, alternating with milk, until combined.
  • Divide batter evenly among liners and bake for 18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let cupcakes cool completely before frosting.

For the Frosting:

  • Beat butter until creamy, then gradually add powdered sugar.
  • Mix in vanilla and milk, beating until fluffy. Add food coloring if desired.
  • Pipe frosting onto cooled cupcakes and decorate with sprinkles or edible flowers.
