Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup unsalted butter 1 stick
  • 2 tsp garlic minced (optional for extra flavor)
  • 1 ½ tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 tsp lemon zest about 1 lemon
  • 1 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • ½ tsp black pepper optional, for more bite
  • 1 tbsp honey optional, for a sweet balance
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley optional garnish

Method
 

Melt Butter:
  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter until smooth.
Add Flavor:
  1. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant (optional).
Mix Seasonings:
  1. Add lemon juice, zest, lemon pepper seasoning, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.
Simmer:
  1. Let sauce cook for 1–2 minutes so the flavors meld together. Remove from heat.
Toss Wings:
  1. Pour sauce over freshly cooked wings and toss until evenly coated.
Garnish & Serve:
  1. Sprinkle with parsley or extra lemon zest if desired. Serve hot!

Notes

For extra crispy wings, bake or air fry them until golden before tossing in the sauce.
Adjust seasoning: add more lemon pepper if you want it zestier, or more honey for a sweet-savory twist.
If you like a thicker glaze, whisk in 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tsp water before simmering.
This sauce works great on shrimp, fish, or roasted veggies too.
