Instructions
Preheat the oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare the dough:
Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut it into thin strips (about 1/4-inch wide).
Wrap the hot dogs:
Take each hot dog and wrap the dough strips around it, leaving a small space for the "face" of the mummy. Continue wrapping until the hot dog is mostly covered. Optionally, brush the dough with beaten egg for a golden finish.
Bake:
Place the wrapped hot dogs on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown.
Add mummy eyes:
Use small dots of mustard or ketchup to create eyes on the exposed area of each hot dog.
Serve:
Let cool slightly before serving. Serve with extra mustard or ketchup for dipping.
