Ingredients
  

  • 20-25 fresh dandelion flowers washed and dried
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup milk or plant-based alternative
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder optional
  • ¼ tsp paprika optional
  • ½ cup oil for frying
  • Honey or dipping sauce for serving

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the batter: In a bowl, whisk together flour, milk, egg, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until smooth.
  • Heat the oil: In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
  • Dip & fry: Coat each dandelion flower in the batter, then carefully place it in the hot oil. Fry 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown.
  • Drain & serve: Remove and place on a paper towel to absorb excess oil. Drizzle with honey or serve with your favorite dip.
