Ingredients
  

  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • ¼ cup melted butter or neutral oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp salt
Optional Add-Ins
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Method
 

Prep the Pan
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease or line a standard loaf pan with parchment paper.
Mix Wet Ingredients
  1. In a large bowl, whisk mashed bananas, sweetened condensed milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
Add Dry Ingredients
  1. Stir in flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt just until combined.
  2. Fold in chocolate chips or nuts if using.
Bake
  1. Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.
  2. Bake for 50–55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
Cool & Slice
  1. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Notes

Extra moist: Very ripe, spotty bananas make the biggest difference.
Don’t overmix: Stir just until combined to keep the loaf tender.
Golden top: Tent loosely with foil if the top browns too fast.
