Ingredients
  

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 2 slices of whole grain bread
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: sliced tomatoes red pepper flakes, feta cheese, poached or fried egg, sliced radishes, micro greens

Instructions
 

  • Toast the slices of whole grain bread until golden brown and crispy.
  • While the bread is toasting, halve the avocado and remove the pit. Scoop the flesh into a bowl and mash it with a fork until smooth.
  • Season the mashed avocado with salt and pepper to taste, and mix well.
  • Once the bread is toasted, spread the mashed avocado evenly onto each slice.
  • Add any desired toppings on top of the mashed avocado.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Avocado Toast!
