Ingredients

  • 2 cans 8 oz each refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 cups cooked turkey chopped or shredded
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss or cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup cranberry sauce
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions or chives optional
  • 1 tsp dried thyme optional
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)

Method

Preheat Oven:
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare Crescent Dough:
  1. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Arrange them in a circular pattern on the baking sheet with the wide ends overlapping slightly in the center and the points facing outward, forming a “ring.”
Add Filling:
  1. Spread chopped turkey over the center of the ring. Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly on top. Dollop cranberry sauce around the turkey and cheese. Sprinkle green onions and thyme if using.
Fold the Ring:
  1. Fold the pointed ends of each triangle over the filling toward the center, slightly tucking underneath to form a closed ring. Brush the dough with beaten egg.
Bake:
  1. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the crescent ring is golden brown and cooked through.
Serve:
  1. Let the ring cool slightly for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
