Method
- In a small bowl or mason jar, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- While whisking (or with the jar closed), slowly drizzle in the olive oil until fully combined and emulsified.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Add herbs if using.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week. Shake well before each use.
Notes
Use high-quality balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil for the best flavor.
This vinaigrette also makes a delicious marinade for grilled chicken or veggies.
Let sit for 5–10 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.
