🍗 Peanut Butter & Jelly Wings

Ingredients
  

  • 12 chicken wings tips removed
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter creamy or chunky
  • 1/4 cup jelly or jam grape, strawberry, or raspberry
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes optional, for a little heat
  • Optional garnish: chopped peanuts fresh herbs

Method
 

Preheat Oven or Air Fryer:
  1. Oven: 400°F (200°C).
  2. Air Fryer: 380°F (190°C).
Prepare Wings:
  1. Pat wings dry and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Toss with olive oil.
Cook Wings:
  1. Oven: Arrange wings on a lined baking sheet and bake 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through (internal temp 165°F / 74°C).
  2. Air Fryer: Cook 20–25 minutes, shaking halfway through.
Make Peanut Butter & Jelly Sauce:
  1. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine peanut butter, jelly, soy sauce, honey, and chili flakes. Stir until smooth and slightly runny.
Coat Wings:
  1. Toss cooked wings in the peanut butter & jelly sauce until evenly coated.
Serve:
  1. Garnish with chopped peanuts or fresh herbs. Serve warm.

Notes

Sweet & Savory Balance: Adjust the jelly and honey ratio to your preferred sweetness.
Spicy Twist: Add sriracha or cayenne to the sauce for heat.
Air Fryer Shortcut: For extra crispiness, lightly spray wings with oil before cooking.
