🍓🫐 Strawberry and Blueberry Smoothie

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries hulled
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 ripe banana adds natural sweetness and creaminess
  • ¾ cup plain Greek yogurt or any yogurt of your choice
  • ½ cup milk dairy or non-dairy like almond, oat, or soy
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup optional, adjust to taste
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract optional
  • Handful of ice cubes optional, for a frostier texture

Method
 

  1. In a blender, combine strawberries, blueberries, banana, yogurt, milk, and optional honey and vanilla.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy. If using frozen fruit, you may not need ice.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness as needed. Add a splash more milk if the smoothie is too thick.
  4. Pour into two glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra protein, add a scoop of your favorite protein powder or nut butter.
Want it dairy-free? Use a plant-based yogurt and non-dairy milk.
To prep ahead, freeze the fruit and banana in individual smoothie bags — just dump and blend!
Add a handful of spinach or chia seeds for a nutrient boost without altering the flavor much.
