🍒 Fresh and Easy Cherry Muffins

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup granulated sugar 5
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • cup vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ¼ cups fresh cherries pitted and chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line or grease a muffin tin.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar in a large bowl.
  3. In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients, mixing just until combined.
  5. Fold in chopped cherries gently.
  6. Spoon batter into muffin cups (about ¾ full).
  7. Bake 20–25 minutes or until tops are golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool slightly and enjoy warm or at room temperature.
