🍏 Caramel Apple Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp salt
  • cups peeled & finely chopped apples Granny Smith works great
  • 1 cup soft caramel bits or chopped caramels

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter & sugars in a large bowl until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  3. Mix dry ingredients in another bowl: flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients. Fold in chopped apples and caramel bits.
  5. Scoop dough onto baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are golden.
  7. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
