Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated biscuit dough 16 biscuits total
  • 1 21 oz can apple pie filling
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter melted

Method

Preheat Oven or Air Fryer:
    Oven: 375°F (190°C)
      Air Fryer: 350°F (175°C)
Prepare Filling: Chop the apple pie filling into smaller chunks so it fits neatly into the dough.
Assemble Bombs: Flatten each biscuit slightly, place about 1 tablespoon of apple pie filling in the center, then pinch and seal the dough edges tightly to form a ball.
            Bake or Air Fry:
Oven: Place sealed side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake 13–15 minutes until golden brown.
Air Fryer: Place in basket (don’t overcrowd) and air fry 8–10 minutes until golden.
Coat in Cinnamon Sugar: While warm, brush bombs with melted butter, then roll in a cinnamon-sugar mixture (combine ½ cup sugar with 1 tsp cinnamon).
Serve: Enjoy warm with caramel sauce, ice cream, or as a grab-and-go treat.

                      Notes

Make them extra indulgent by drizzling with caramel or glaze.
You can swap apple filling for cherry, peach, or blueberry for different pie bombs.
Seal dough well to avoid filling leaking while baking.
Best eaten fresh, but leftovers can be reheated in the air fryer for crispiness.
