Ingredients
Method
- Core and slice apples into ½-inch thick wedges. (Peeling is optional.)
- In a bowl, toss the apple slices with melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and cornstarch (if using) until evenly coated.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 2–3 minutes.
- Place apples in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 8–10 minutes, shaking halfway through, until apples are tender and lightly caramelized.
- Serve warm — enjoy as-is, over oatmeal, with yogurt, or topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
Notes
Add chopped pecans or walnuts in the last 2 minutes of air frying for extra crunch.
For a lower sugar version, reduce the sweetener or use a sugar-free substitute.
Great as a side dish, healthy dessert, or topping for pancakes and waffles.
Want extra sauce? Add 1–2 tablespoons of apple juice when tossing for a bit of glaze.
