Ingredients
  

  • 1½ lbs kielbasa sausage
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp whole-grain mustard
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Optional garnish: chopped parsley or chives

Method
 

Preheat Oven:
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare Kielbasa:
  1. Slice kielbasa into 1½-inch pieces. Make thin slices across the top of each piece, cutting about ¾ of the way through (Hasselback style).
Make the Mustard Glaze:
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, whole-grain mustard, honey, melted butter, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper.
Glaze the Kielbasa:
  1. Arrange the pieces on the baking sheet and brush generously with the mustard glaze, making sure it gets into the cuts.
Bake:
  1. Roast for 22–25 minutes, turning once halfway through and brushing with additional glaze, until edges are crispy and caramelized.
Serve:
  1. Garnish with parsley or chives and serve warm with toothpicks.

Notes

Extra Crispy: Broil for the last 2 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.
Flavor Twist: Add a pinch of cayenne for heat or a drizzle of maple syrup for sweetness.
Air Fryer Option: Cook at 380°F (195°C) for 10–12 minutes, shaking halfway.
Make Ahead: Slice kielbasa in advance; apply glaze just before baking.
Serving Idea: Serve on a party platter with mustard dipping sauces, pretzel bites, or mini pickles.
